eco elegance at raw kitchen

You may recall that last May we exhibited at Wedding Upmarket and collaborated with some wonderful vendors to bring to life a coastal themed styled space.

As we’d all worked so hard on putting it together, a few of us decided to develop what we’d done for Upmarket into a styled shoot which is featured in the current edition of Tickle the Imagination, a fantastic Perth-based magazine.

We wanted to demonstrate that you don’t have to compromise on style or elegance to have an eco-friendly wedding.  When we think eco-friendly we normally picture a vintage or bohemian style wedding – we wanted to do something that didn’t obviously look eco-friendly.

We used repurposed or locally made/sourced products as much as possible as well as featuring hired gowns.  The venue was Raw Kitchen in Fremantle which uses local, organic and ethical produce wherever possible and has a menu is designed to minimise food miles, unnecessary transport and storage.
