This is the second part of the styled inspiration shoot I took part in last week. The amazing images were captured by Carly Williams of CJ Williams Photography.
We shot the dessert buffet in the general store which was the perfect setting for it. I wanted to keep it vintage but with an element of colour and fun which I thought fitted in with the surrounds. The beautiful cakes (a vanilla and raspberry layer cake, chocolate cake and assorted cupcakes) were supplied by Sherbet Bake Shop. Florals were by the amazingly talented Rebecca Gregson from Fox & Rabbit.
The table setting was intended to be simple yet sophisticated with just a few girly touches – a perfect setting for a kitchen tea, hens/bachelorette high tea, or an elegant garden party style wedding. The setting featured feminine pink and lavender florals provided by Fox & Rabbit, dainty vintage glassware and ornate wooden furniture supplied by Her Handpicked Harvest, vintage wooden cutlery, mismatched china and crochet doily bunting. Wedding stationery was provided by the lovely Alicia from Akimbo Designs.
We shot the couple in the village’s old house which featured beautiful bright rooms, gorgeous lace curtains and ornate doors. The old kitchen used for the couple shoot was my favourite room in the village. It was such a quaint and cosy space, the perfect place for our couple to share a romantic and indulgent afternoon tea! Cakes were supplied by Sherbet Bake Shop (red velvet, chocolate, and assorted cupcakes) and florals by Fox & Rabbit.
Again, our gorgeous model couple were Tara and Ben, the cutest and most fun couple we know!
If any WA brides and grooms to-be like what they see here they can meet CJ Williams Photography, Flights of Fancy by Kristy, Fox & Rabbit and Her Handpicked Harvest at the First Comes Love Bridal Fair at the Oxford Hotel in Leederville on 26 and 27 May 2012.
