I am a big fan of bhldn (pronounced “beholden”), a US site that sells the most amazing wedding and event attire, accessories and decor.
So I was delighted this morning to wake up to an email notification of their wedding gown sale! Unfortunately it’s too late for me, but I still love looking at their beautiful pieces and imagining the sort of wedding that would surround each dress. What I love about the site is that plenty of shots of each gown are provided and a video of a model walking in the gown is also featured to show you exactly how the gown falls and moves when worn.
There are so many lovely gowns to suit any style from modern to vintage and everything in between. Here are some of my favourites!
Top row left to right: Crepe de Chine Column Gown, Dainty Diversion Mini, Modern Mythology Gown, Pleated Fantasy Gown. Bottom row left to right: Spun Sugar Shift, Blushing Crinoline Sheath, Mille Petals Corset Gown, Tulle Era Dress.
Bhldn also offers a collection of separates, with tops and skirts which can be mixed and matched to create your perfect “dress”.
For example, combine the Counterpart Shell with the Tulle Tiers Skirt for a soft, romantic look:
the Columnar Corset and Beatific Ball Skirt for a more modern look:
the In Perpetuity Camisole and Beatific Ball Skirt for a simple, elegant look:
or the Appolinaire Blouse and Frolicking Feathers Skirt for a modern twist on a vintage look:
The possibilities are endless!
