Last weekend we had the pleasure of joining a whole bunch of other creative WA folks at the First Comes Love Bridal Fair.
We got to meet so many lovely brides and grooms to be who share our style and philosophy when it comes to weddings, and we know we are going to have the privilege of working on some very exciting events as a result. There is nothing more lovely than someone telling you they have seen your work and are a fan!
We just went with a small display this year and kept it simple with little glass jars and an old teapot filled with blooms, some beautiful white ceramic bunnies (you know how I love bunnies!), a set of letterpress blocks spelling out our business name, and a portfolio showcasing some of our work. Behind the display we hung some bluey-grey garlands to match our logo and some photo garlands I made last week. Our sweet stationery, including 3 different postcards and letterpress business cards, was designed by my super talented cousin, Tessa Lee, and was all very well received! Below are a couple of images of our display captured by the very lovely Angela Higgins.
There were so many amazing displays at the fair! Some of my favourites were a lovely vintage ceremony set up by her handpicked harvest, a table of warm-coloured florals by Fox & Rabbit, a colourful table setting by Machell, a set of drawers absolutely filled with beautiful blooms by Eufloria, a set up of stunning stationery by Dizzy Wizzy Design, and of course the always fun photo booth by Push the Button Photobooths. Not to mention the gorgeous popcorn and fairy floss carts set up in the basement area and the popsicle van out on the street!
We must say a big thank you to Leah and Angela from Studio Bomba who were responsible for organising this amazing event. It was clear that loads of work had been put into it and it was all well worth it! Thanks also to all the old friends who came along to support us and the new friends we had the pleasure of meeting!
My head is already swimming with ideas for next year!!!
